Lindum Squash Club

The Commode Cup is an annual handicap tournament for those members 'of a certain age' who have recovered sufficiently from Christmas excess to make it onto the squash court.

The splendid prize for the tournament is an actual commode.  The only stipualtion for the winner of this magnificent prize is that it should be returned in time for the next competition in an unused condition! 

In 2008 the Commode was won by Fran Wallis, with runner up Sandy Condley.

In lieu of a plate the Commode Cup boasts 'The Potty'.  This was fought over by Iain Jubbs and Steve Wildman, but the result was so close that no-one can remember who won. How 'potty' is that?!
